Terms of Service
Last updated: March 14, 2026 Provider: LPF Family (sole proprietorship of Liron Finegold, Israel) Contact: [email protected] Website: https://lpf.family
These terms are between you and Liron Finegold, doing business as LPF Family, located in Israel. They cover all apps published by LPF Family: Bright, Steer & Anchor, Contour, and Closet. We wrote them in plain language — no legalese, no surprises.
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using any LPF Family app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our apps.
These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy. Together, they explain how our apps work and what you can expect from us.
2. Our Apps
LPF Family builds tools for families raising children with autism. Here’s what each app does:
- Bright — Family schedule, tasks, and rules management for structured daily routines. Parents manage content; children view it in a read-only interface.
- Steer & Anchor — Reflective journaling with two AI personas for parent coaching and personal growth. Designed exclusively for adults.
- Contour — Turn any photo into a connect-the-dots puzzle. All image processing happens on your device.
- Closet — Visual closet organizer with voice interaction for independent dressing. Everything stays on your device.
3. Who Can Use Our Apps
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or manage any LPF Family app.
- Children do not create accounts. In Bright, children may view schedules, tasks, and rules through a read-only interface under parental supervision — but they do not sign up, log in, or submit content.
- Steer & Anchor is designed for adults only. It is not intended for use by children.
- Contour and Closet may be used without creating an account. If a child uses these apps, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising that use and for any permissions required under local law.
If you create or manage content relating to a child, you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have authority to provide that information and use the app in that way.
By using our apps, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Your Account
Some of our apps (like Bright) require an account. Here’s how that works:
- Authentication is handled through magic link email or Apple Sign-In, powered by Supabase.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Don’t share your login credentials or magic link with anyone outside your household.
- One household, one account. Bright is designed so that one parent manages the household. Access is limited to your family.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at [email protected] immediately.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to our apps.
- Photos, text, journal entries, child profiles, wardrobe items — anything you add to our apps belongs to you.
- We need a limited license to make the apps work. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the app features to you.
- We do not sell your content or use it to train general-purpose AI models. We use it only for the limited purposes needed to provide and secure the services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Bright stores your content on our servers (Cloudflare) so it works across devices. Steer & Anchor stores journal entries on your device or iCloud. User-created content in Contour and Closet is processed and stored locally on your device — we do not upload that content to our servers. Limited technical data such as diagnostics or app performance data may still be collected as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you delete content or your account, we will remove it from active systems within a reasonable time. Limited information may be retained in backups, logs, or where required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may review, remove, or restrict content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or may harm users, children, or our services.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Some features require a paid subscription.
- Billing is handled entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We don’t process payments directly.
- Free tier features are available without a subscription. Pro features require an active subscription.
- Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your App Store or Play Store subscription settings. Your pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies. We don’t have the ability to issue refunds directly.
- Price changes: If we change subscription pricing, you’ll be notified through the App Store or Play Store before your next renewal.
Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, billing disputes, taxes, and payment methods are handled by the applicable app store under that store’s terms and policies. Where store rules conflict with these Terms regarding billing or subscriptions, the store’s terms control.
7. Acceptable Use
We trust our users, but we need a few ground rules:
Don’t:
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or violates anyone’s rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our apps
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from our apps or services
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our apps or servers
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use our apps for any purpose that could harm children
If we find a violation, we may suspend or terminate your account.
8. AI Features Disclaimer
Steer & Anchor includes AI-powered coaching and reflection features.
- AI responses are not professional advice. They are not a substitute for therapy, medical care, behavioral consultation, or any professional service.
- We don’t guarantee accuracy. AI can make mistakes, misunderstand context, or provide suggestions that don’t fit your situation.
- Always use your own judgment — especially when it comes to decisions about your child’s care, education, or wellbeing.
- Not for crisis or emergency use. The AI features are not intended for crisis support, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency decision-making. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
If you need professional support, please consult a qualified therapist, BCBA, physician, or other specialist.
9. Intellectual Property
Except for your content, the apps — including their software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, and other materials — are owned by LPF Family or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any right to modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our apps.
10. Availability & Changes
We’re a small team building these apps with care, but we can’t promise perfection:
- Apps may have downtime for maintenance, updates, or unexpected issues.
- Features may change. We may add, modify, or remove features as our apps evolve.
- Beta or experimental features may be offered from time to time. These may be changed or discontinued at any time and may be less reliable than general release features.
- Regional availability. Our apps are currently available in Israel, Mexico, the United States, and Canada. We may expand to other regions in the future.
- We may discontinue an app if we can no longer maintain it. If that happens, we’ll give you reasonable notice and help you export your data where possible.
11. Third-Party Ads
Contour may display third-party ads. Those ads are served by third-party providers, and we do not control their content. Please review our Privacy Policy for details about ad-related data practices, including child-directed treatment under COPPA.
12. Disclaimers & Warranties
Our apps are provided “as is” and “as available.”
- We do our best to keep things working, but we don’t guarantee that our apps will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet every specific need.
- We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms limits our obligations under child privacy laws, including COPPA. If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country or state of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights where they cannot be waived.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- LPF Family’s total liability for any claims arising from your use of our apps is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $50, whichever is greater).
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost data, lost profits, or emotional distress.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including where applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or violations of non-waivable consumer or privacy rights.
14. Termination
You can leave anytime:
- You may request account deletion by contacting [email protected]. We will process deletion within a reasonable time, subject to any retention required for backups, billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Uninstall any app at any time. For apps that store data locally (Closet, Contour, Steer & Anchor), uninstalling removes your local data.
We can terminate your access if you violate these terms. We’ll try to give you notice first, but we reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Israel. If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country or state of residence — nothing in these Terms limits those rights where they cannot be waived.
16. Changes to These Terms
If we make material changes to these terms:
- We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top.
- We’ll notify you through the app and/or on our website.
- Material changes take effect 30 days after notice. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.
- We will never quietly reduce your rights or protections.
17. General
- Force majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, cloud provider failures, natural disasters, war, or government actions.
- Export controls. You may not use the apps if doing so would violate applicable export control or sanctions laws.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy make up the entire agreement between you and LPF Family regarding the use of our apps, replacing any prior agreements on the same subject.
- Assignment. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights under these Terms.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
